The Liverpool full-back almost suffered a serious car accident while driving in a storm.
Very big scare for Trent Alexander-Arnold. According to the English press, the Liverpool player almost died on Friday while driving.
According to the Sun, a 12-meter electric pole fell on the road, just before the England international passed through. It was the winds from storm Babet, blowing at more than 110 km/h, which caused this damage. Alexander-Arnold had to avoid this utility pole, and he hit an oncoming vehicle. The electric pole, which weighed around 500 kilos, fell on the other car. Luckily, the driver escaped without much injury.
According to witnesses, Alexander-Arnold was in shock after the accident. The Liverpool defender was surprised no one was killed in the accident. Only his car, a Range Rover, suffered damage. The accident took place in the morning and “TAA” was able to take part in the Reds’ training in the afternoon. It should therefore be operational this Saturday for the Mersey derby between Liverpool and Everton.
