Chelsea were leading 2-0 against Arsenal when their goalkeeper, Robert Sanchez, gave Declan Rice a goal. The Gunners ended up obtaining a draw on Saturday at the Bridge (2-2).
The London derby between Chelsea and Arsenal, not very flamboyant, offered some comical goals on Saturday afternoon in the Premier League. The two teams finally shared the points (2-2), allowing the Gunners to remain undefeated and move up to second behind Man City (pending the Tottenham match).
But the Blues first led 2-0! After a handball from William Saliba, Cole Palmer opened the scoring from the penalty spot (15th). At the start of the second half, Mykhailo Mudryk sent a cross which lobbed the Arsenal goalkeeper, David Raya (48th). A total success for Mauricio Pochettino’s team, which is languishing in the middle of the rankings.

Worse was to come in this meeting at Stamford Bridge, but from the goalkeeper on the opposite side of the field: Robert Sanchez sent his clearance to Declan Rice, full axis, and the English midfielder scored with a strike distant into an empty goal (77th).
