Barça is putting butter in its spinach. Two months after formalizing the sale of part of Barca Studios for 120 million euros, the Catalan club announced this Friday that it had found a new economic lever, this time in the form of a partnership with the Parc de PortAventura attractions.
This strategic collaboration is part of the club’s desire to diversify its income. The objective will be in particular to bring an immersive side to the Espai Barça experience which will see the light of day from November 2024. “This partnership with PortAventura World responds to FC Barcelona’s strategic project to explore new ways of generating resources within the entertainment industry. Doing it with an experienced travel companion rooted in the territory like PortAventura is for us one of the greatest guarantees of success”said Juli Guiu, vice-president of the marketing department of Barça.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of PortAventura World, Arturo Mas-Sardá, also reacted: “We are delighted to announce today our new collaboration with FC Barcelona to create a unique entertainment zone. This agreement is a new step in the continued diversification of PortAventura World in the football and sports segment. We are convinced that this ambitious new project will not only strengthen the brand of FC Barcelona and PortAventura World, but will also offer visitors unforgettable experiences combining pleasure and passion for sport. »
