At a press conference this Thursday in Paris, the president of the French Football Federation, Philippe Diallo, was questioned about the comments of Gérald Darmanin, who accused Karim Benzema of being in notorious links with the Muslim Brotherhood. Faced with journalists, however, the boss of the body avoided the subject.

“On Karim Benzema, quite honestly I don’t want to get into this controversy, I don’t have the elements. Karim Benzema, I have the image of one of the greatest French players, with an immense track record, who won the Ballon d’Or, and I stick to that.. As a reminder, the new attacker of Al-Ittihad, in Saudi Arabia, is already preparing his response since he plans to file a complaint against the Minister of the Interior but also Eric Zemmour, author of remarks that are, to say the least, acerbic towards the former Real Madrid striker.
