This Thursday, UEFA announced its decision not to replay the match between Belgium and Sweden.

The international break this October was sadly marked by the attack which left two (Swedish) victims during the match between Belgium and the Sweden which took place in Brussels on Monday October 16. Shocked by the events, the players of both teams decided not to resume the match, the score of which was 1-1 at half-time.

And that will be the final score. While the Federations of both teams expressed their desire not to replay the match, UEFA agreed with them. This Thursday, it was announced that the Belgium-Sweden match will not be replayed.

In the classification of Group F, this does not change much since Belgium is already qualified for Euro 2024 and Sweden is eliminated after Austria’s victory in Azerbaijan at the same time.
