He’s quite a divisive character. For many, Luis Campos is a football genius and a man very connected in the industry, which allows him to make some big moves in the transfer window. Others, on the other hand, are much more suspicious and do not hesitate to criticize the 2022 summer transfer window that he was able to do in Paris for example. In Spain, we cannot say that his Celta, where he also plays a major role as sports advisor, is a real success. As for the Portuguese, he feels very comfortable within the La Liga club, and has recently been given even more power.

Discussions have not yet started, but everything suggests that the two parties are condemned to come to an agreement. The media nevertheless specifies that in the event of the club’s relegation, it would be impossible to continue working with Campos for obvious financial reasons. Rafa Benitez and his men will therefore have to do much better in the coming months to allow the Portuguese to continue working in Vigo and PSG…
