Barça unveils new jersey

For the Clasico against Real Madrid on October 28, FC Barcelona players will wear a jersey with the Rolling Stones logo.

The international break having ended, European clubs are preparing to resume competition with a schedule which will be busy for most of them. This is the case of FC Barcelonawho will attack with the reception of Bilbao, 5th in Liga, followed by two new receptions: against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League and of course the Clasico against real Madrid on October 28.

The Stones support Barça

On this occasion, the Barcelona players will wear a new jersey. In fact, it will be the same home jersey as worn so far this season, but with a change in main sponsor. As part of the partnership with the streaming platform Spotifythe sponsor will be replaced by the legendary Rolling Stones logo, that of the red mouth, to celebrate the release of their latest album Hackney Diamonds.

The three members of the group Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ron Woods posed with this jersey and showed their support for Xavi and his players for this match against the Madrid rival. “We are huge football fans and we are grateful to Spotify. We will encourage the players who will be on the field as well as the fans from around the world who will follow this emblematic match”, they said in the press release published by Barça. This is not the first time that Barcelona has temporarily changed its logo since its agreement with Spotify, they had already done it for Drake (in October 2022) and Rosalia (in March 2023). Notice to fans of Barça and the Stones, this jersey will only be sold in 1899 copies (plus 22 signed by the players) who will be able to afford it after being drawn at random.
