Few coaches can afford to refuse Naples. Antonio Conte is one of them. At 54, the Italian does not want to rush, especially during the season and after a stint at Tottenham which was tricky to say the least. If Rudi Garcia’s days are numbered, Aurelio De Laurentiis is working behind the scenes to find his successor. It won’t be Conte. “I don’t take teams during the season, because I inherit a situation that I did not choose”the tactician coldly explains to the Raion the television.

But if the former Inter Milan tactician does not wish to commit to Napoli for the moment, he still remains interested in the Italian club. “Naples and Rome are two places I would like to know for the passion they express. I hope that one day I will have the chance to live this experience”, he says, while affirming that he has indeed refused offers in Saudi Arabia. Currently, Antonio Conte has “the will to continue to wait and enjoy my family”.
