Since his arrival in Paris, Kang-in Lee has been in great shape. Moreover, his debut with PSG was more than satisfactory and pleased many Parisian supporters. Recruited at a low price from Mallorca (€22 million), the South Korean dynamiter perfectly fulfilled his role as a luxury replacement within Luis Enrique’s squad. However, from mid-September, he had to return to the Land of Fresh Mornings to compete in the Asian Games.

Even if a few physical problems had marred his debut under the Ile-de-France tunic, he was finally able to continue with his selection. However, his Asian games, punctuated by 3 starts in 5 matches, were not a real success on an individual level despite their collective coronation at the end of the tournament against Japan (2-1). After this epic event at the Asian Games, the former Valencia CF player continued with the selection of South Korea which faced Tunisia and Vietnam in October.

3 goals and 1 assist during the October international break

And this is the moment during which Kang-In Lee shined. Positioned as an attacking midfielder against the Carthage Eagles, the 22-year-old shone and scored 2 goals in a big success (4-0). Man of the match, the native of Incheon was able to continue during the second meeting which took place this Tuesday against Vietnam. Facing the Asian neighbors, the Parisian then played the entire match, eccentric on the right side of a 4-4-2 which proved fruitful for Jürgen Klinsmann’s men.

At the end of the match won with a strong score (6-0), Lee Kang-In scored 1 goal and delivered an assist. With his two dazzling performances, there is no doubt that Lee has ensured a peaceful future with South Korea. In addition, his return to form could do a lot of good for PSG which has very little certainty at the moment.
