Benjamin Pavard is established in the central hinge, alongside Ibrahima Konaté, for the friendly match of the France team against Scotland, this Tuesday evening in Lille.

We know the starting lineup chosen by Didier Deschamps for the Blues’ friendly match against Scotland, this Tuesday (9 p.m., live on TF1), at “the Decathlon Arena Stade Pierre Mauroy in Lille Métropole” (the official title of this enclosure located in Villeneuve-d’Ascq). The coach of the France team makes only four changes compared to the 6th victory in a row in the Euro 2024 qualifiers in the Netherlands (1-2), last Friday.

Benjamin Pavard, who asked “La Dèche” to evolve in the axis despite terrible competition, is tried for the first time in a two-person central hinge, alongside Ibrahima Konaté. Jonathan Clauss therefore takes on a second start on the right, while Lucas Hernandez is sent to the bench.

Giroud at the forefront

As expected, Eduardo Camavinga takes over from Adrien Rabiot as left midfielder in midfield, while Ousmane Dembélé and Olivier Giroud accompany Kylian Mbappé in the offensive sector at the expense of Kingsley Coman and Randal Kolo Muani. The French captain is not spared even though he was presented as being short of form before the international window…

Malo Gusto, Jean-Clair Todibo, Boubacar Kamara, Youssouf Fofana and Marcus Thuram all have chances of coming on at half-time or during the second half.

The starting lineup: Maignan – Clauss, Pavard, Konaté, T. Hernandez – Griezmann, Tchouaméni, Camavinga – Dembélé, Giroud, Mbappé.
