This Tuesday, France ended its October break with a nice duel against Scotland at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Lille. A solid match for the Tricolores who were able to win 4-1 despite Billy Gilmour’s early opener. Speaking to TF1 after the match, Antoine Griezmann took stock of this game: “we started the match badly, it took us 10 to 15 minutes to get into it. We then put things back in order to get the victory and please people.”

He also took the opportunity to promote the match of his teammate Benjamin Pavard, author of a double and hero of the evening: “I saw that he was making the call at the near post, I put it hard and it was magnificent (on the first goal, editor’s note). It’s beautiful what he did this evening. Plus he finishes with the armbar, what more could you ask for.”
