Yes, but there you go… Since then, Saudi Arabia has launched a staggering recruitment campaign and first made Cristiano Ronaldo the highest paid footballer on the planet. And by a long way, since the five-time Ballon d’Or earns 247 million euros per year, all income combined.

And if Kylian Mbappé doesn’t even find himself on the podium, it’s also because he sees Lionel Messi and Neymar passing him in front of him at the same time.
