The Sommer is crazy!

At 34, Eugénie Le Sommer continues her fantastic start to the season with OL by scoring twice in an easily won derby (4-0) on Saturday in the women’s D1.

Scorer in OL’s first two matches in D1 Arkéma (after scoring in the Trophée des champions against PSG), Eugénie Le Sommer was voted player of the month in the women’s championship. The top scorer in the history of Fenottes, at 34, is honored for the first time since the creation of this award in 2020.

“ELS” is visibly on cloud nine at the moment since she scored a double in the derby against AS Saint-Etienne, Saturday evening at the Les Gones training center stadium. The French international was served each time by the young Haitian prodigy Melchie Dumornay (16th and 26th) to shake the nets of a Saint-Etienne team promoted this season.
