In July 2019, the former England international (26 caps, 8 goals) promised a nice reward to the individual who managed to find his pet, stolen from his home in Los Angeles. A few days later, his dog was brought to him by Foster Washington, an American rapper better known under the pseudonym “Killa Fame”. But since, The Telegraph reports to us this Friday that the former player who played for Liverpool and Trabzonspor is in the crosshairs of American justice.
The reason ? The young man never received the promised sum, namely $30,000 (around €28,000) after finding Daniel Sturridge’s dog and therefore filed a complaint against the current consultant of Sky Sports. In December 2021, the Englishman was summoned by the Los Angeles court but the latter did not respond favorably to his summons. Thus, the British media adds that an arrest warrant would have been issued against the former star of the Mersey club who will have to answer for his actions during a new hearing scheduled for November 30.
