In an interview given to France Football, Brazilian winger Vinicius Jr (23 years old) seems to be having a blast in Madrid and is making it known (3 goals and 1 assist in 7 TCC matches at the start of the season). If he wishes to stay with the Spanish capital for his entire career, the Auriverde international (24 caps, 3 goals) would see himself returning to his training club, Flamengo, who had received 45 million euros to let him leave for Spain.

“I love life here in general, and it’s going well for my family too. When my loved ones walk around, they are recognized and they wish us nothing but happiness. Little by little, I discovered this new life, new emotions, a fervor… Madrid is unique. Everyone around the world tells me about this club. (…) I think I could stay here my whole career, but the club of my life is Flamengo. I promised my father I would go back one day. I must respect this promise.
