Thierry Henry has lined up a surprising line-up for the opposition against Bosnia.
For its second match in the Euro Espoirs qualifiers, the France team crosses swords this Friday (from 6:30 p.m.) with Bosnia-Herzegovina. For this meeting, the Bleuets coach, Thierry Henry, made some strong choices.
Henry innovates in attack
The French coach decided in particular to do without two of his offensive arrows, Mathys Tel and Bradley Barcola. Both players will start the match on the bench. “Titi” gave priority to the pair Arnaud Kalimuendo and Elye Wahi. The latter, who had not started in September, therefore gained the trust of his coach.
Note that Rayan Cherki keeps his place in the midfield. The Lyonnais is the playing master of this team and he is called upon to confirm it during this outing in Sarajevo. In the middle, he will be supported by his club teammate Lepenant. In the role of the two defensive players, confidence is maintained in the Ugochukwu and Zaire-Emery pair.
The back quartet remains unchanged. Matsima and Magassa occupy the axis, while Merlin and Diarra will liven up the corridors. The excellent Remains will once again keep the cage.
The starting lineup for the France Espoirs team against Bosnia:
Remains – Diarra, Matsima, Magassa, Merlin – Zaire-Emery, Ugochukwu, Lepenant – Cherki, Wahi, Kalimuendo.
