FC Barcelona are reportedly looking to hire the services of an azzurro international midfielder.
FC Barcelona plans to recruit Jorginho, Arsenal midfielder, during the next transfer window. He could be the missing piece in the Spanish champions’ squad.
Xavi wants it at all costs
According to ESPN, Barca coach Xavi is a big admirer of Jorginho. The latter would correspond to the style of football advocated by the Catalan technician, made up of short passes and ball possession.
Although he is often used by Mikel Arteta at the Gunners, Jorginho is only a substitute when the usual starters are all available.
Speaking to Italian media outlet TMW last month, his agent Joao Santos outlined Jorginho’s goal at the start of the season. He stated : “Jorginho is focused on Arsenal, the Premier League title race and the Champions League. He will not go to Fenerbahçe.”
