Placed in detention in Spain for rape, Dani Alves is no longer in this world according to his ex-wife Dinorah Santana.

Incarcerated in Spain for ten months for the alleged rape of a young woman last December in a nightclub in Barcelona, Dani Alves remains awaiting his judgment, having already been rejected several times by the higher court of Catalonia in his requests release under judicial supervision.

Initially supported by his former wife Dinorah Santana – a woman from whom he divorced in 2011 and with whom he had two children – the 40-year-old Brazilian defender now finds himself left to his own devices. “ For me, it no longer exists. For me, he is dead. I always kept my head down, I never made a fuss, I never made a scandal », Proclaims the footballer’s ex-partner on a Spanish television channel.

“I want him to disappear from my life”

After declaring “ believe in innocence » from her former husband at the genesis of the affair, Dinorah Santana has since radically changed her speech: “ No one pressured me, but I did it to help the father of my children “, she defended herself to explain this change of position. And to hammer: “ They (Dani Alves’ lawyers, editor’s note) used myself when I wanted to help him. Being the children of an alleged rapist is a very unpleasant thing. I want him to disappear from my life. »

Dani Alves, who initially categorically denied the alleged facts, changed his version several times, now just admitting a “ consensual relationship » with the complainant. His current wife, Joana Sanz, has filed for divorce.
