Like France, Belgium and Portugal validated their ticket for Euro 2024 this Friday evening.
Like the Blues, defeaters of the Netherlands in Amsterdam (1-2) and thus already qualified for Euro 2024, the Portuguese also obtained their ticket for Germany this Friday evening. This is thanks to a victory over Slovakia (3-2) and goals signed Ramos (18e) and Ronaldo (29e on penalty, 72e) that the Selecçao has locked first place in its group.
At the same time, Belgium asserted itself at the expense of Austria, victorious in Vienna with a score of 2-3. Lukebakio’s double (12e55e) and the achievement of Lukaku (58e) were able to shelter the Red Devils who still experienced a culpable relaxation at the end of the game, conceding two goals by Laimer (72e) and Sabitzer (84e from the penalty spot) while Onana saw red in the last quarter of an hour (78e).
The Belgians, who are three points ahead of the Austrians two days before the end of the qualifiers, are not yet assured of first place in the group but will certainly finish with their sesame in their pocket. Four nations are therefore currently qualified for Euro 2024: France, Belgium, Portugal and the organizing country, Germany.
