At 38 years old, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is still in great shape and there is no sign that he will slow down any time soon.
According to reports, Ronaldo would like to continue playing at least until the final stages of the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Ronaldo may be a little older than many of his international colleagues and those at his club Al-Nassr, but he remains an inspiration to millions around the world. His position in world football, however, does not protect him from jokes.
Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot, who is close friends with Ronaldo and played alongside him at Old Trafford before the legendary striker’s release in November 2022, said on social media that he saw Ronaldo unable to put his phone down, a problem that many young people suffer from: “This new generation is always on the phone,” mocked Cr7’s compatriot on social networks.
