Bordeaux formalizes its new coach

The Girondins de Bordeaux made the identity of their new coach official this Thursday.

As expected, Albert Riera was officially named coach of the Girondins de Bordeaux this Thursday. The Spanish coach, who spent time with the club between 2003 and 2005 when he was a player, has signed a two-year contract, until June 2025.

Champion of Slovenia with Olimpija Ljubljana last season, Albert Riera was stationed at NK Celje, current leader of the Slovenian championship.
