Arriving this summer at PSG from Inter Milan, Milan Skriniar is not yet unanimous.
Long-time Paris Saint-Germain target Milan Skriniar was signed by the capital club this summer, as a free agent after his contract at Inter Milan expired. At first glance, the signing of the Slovak international looked like a very nice move for Paris, which managed to attract one of Italy’s most highly rated defenders in recent years.
Despite this status as a sure bet in Serie A, Skriniar does not convince all observers. Powerful and rough, the central defender also shows a lack of liveliness to defend behind his back and cover the depth. His quality of passing on the restart is also singled out.
Adil Rami, who knows the position perfectly and had a comparable size, is not convinced by the Slovak.
“ With all the matches that I have seen of this defender, I find that it is complicated for him today. I can’t be mean to him because he had a hell of an injury (…) But today with Luis Enrique’s system, it’s complicated because they are very high,” launched Rami on Prime Video.
“ As he is not yet in good shape, I will be kind to him, as he is not yet ready in my opinion, he will often find himself in one-on-one duels and I have the impression that the little weak link of PSG today, it’s him“, added the 2018 world vice-champion.
