Bayern Munich is well on its way to paying for the services of another French player.

Borussia Mönchengladbach and France Under-21 team midfielder Manu Koné could be the subject of a major transfer.

Tuchel wants to rejuvenate his workforce

The talented player is recovering from a knee injury sustained during the Under-21 Euros this summer. Even if he is short of competitions, he has good odds with the German giant.

Journalist Christian Falk highlighted Bayern Munich’s interest in this former Toulouse member. The reigning German champions want to inject some youth into their midfield and believe Koné fits the bill.

Liverpool and PSG were also interested in Koné, but their interest gradually faded.

If he joins Bayern, Koné will be able to count on the presence of four compatriots, able to facilitate his adaptation: Tel, Coman, Upamecano and Bouna Sarr. Lucas Hernandez and Benjamin Pavard were also part of this squad, but they changed tunes last summer.
