In an interview given to The TeamItalian midfielder Marco Verratti, who left Paris Saint-Germain this summer for the Qatar Stars League and Al-Arabi SC, reflected on his emotion during his last evening spent at the Parc des Princes, with the numerous tributes paid by the club and the supporters before his departure for the Gulf.
“(laughs) That’s it, I saw those eleven years go by again. I knew it was the last time I was on this lawn. I suspected it was going to be special: during the farewells of other players, I was the first to be moved. Being there with my family, my children, it was strong. Not everyone makes eleven years on the same team! With training, matches, I saw all the PSG guys more than my family.”
