Ruffier demands a crazy sum from AS Saint-Etienne

Dismissed by AS Saint-Etienne for serious misconduct more than two years ago, Stéphane Ruffier challenged his ouster in court this Monday.

In conflict with Claude Puel, Stéphane Ruffier was dismissed for serious misconduct by AS Saint-Etienne in January 2021. Appearing before the industrial tribunal this Monday, the former doorman, who retired in the wake of his ouster, contested his dismissal.

The former French international (3 selections) denounces a “moral harassment” and demands 7 million euros in reparations. For their part, the Greens still hope to prove the legitimacy of this dismissal. The verdict will be delivered on January 15.
