After LOSC, it is Real Madrid’s turn to salute Eden Hazard, who officially announced his retirement from sports this Tuesday. Between Casa Blanca and the Belgian, the hoped-for love story never really took place. Between poor form and injuries, the winger did not have the expected impact.

This did not prevent him from adding to his list of achievements, as recalled in the press release published by the Madrid club. “Following Eden Hazard’s announcement of his retirement from football as a professional player, Real Madrid CF would like to express its gratitude and affection to a player who arrived at our club in 2019 and who, during the four seasons he belonged to our team, won 8 titles: 1 European Cup, 1 Club World Cup, 1 European Super Cup, 2 Leagues, 1 Copa del Rey and 2 Spanish Super Cups. Real Madrid wishes Eden Hazard and his family the best in this new stage of his life. That’s a lot of trophies for a total of 76 matches (and only 4 played in full) in 4 years!
