The possible return of Thibaut Courtois to the Belgian selection is not to everyone’s taste.
It is an episode which left its mark within the Red Devils. During last June’s gathering, Thibaut Courtois decided to leave his Paris partners in the draw against Austria (1-1), as part of the Euro 2024 qualifiers, after learning that he would not be captain despite the absence of Kevin De Bruyne.

As a reminder, Thibaut Courtois suffered a rupture of the anterior ligament of his left knee during training in August. The Real Madrid goalkeeper is therefore still recovering.
