Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel has criticized the DFB for scheduling Germany’s matches in North America during the international break.

The German national team is set to face the United States and Mexico in two friendlies in the United States during the October international break. The Mannschaft’s busy schedule was not to the liking of Bayern coach Tuchel, who criticized the Deutscher Fussball Bund’s decision to organize away friendlies, especially in North America.

The former Chelsea manager also failed to understand why Germany were playing away matches as they prepare to host the European Championship in less than a year.

Speaking to journalists, Tuchel let his anger speak: “I don’t know if I would be interested in playing Mexico in America before a tournament in Germany. I don’t know if anyone can explain this in a way that I can understand. I don’t know who decided it, but it was decided.

“There’s a difference between a busy schedule and being away from home and in different time zones. We are at the end of endurance. No coach in the world at this level will say otherwise.
