A firecracker thrown in added time interrupted Montpellier-Clermont (4-2). Brest misses the top of the ranking ahead of Toulouse.
Montpellier was going to celebrate its victory against Clermont (4-2, 8th day of Ligue 1) when a well-inspired spectator sent a firecracker onto the pitch in added time of the second half.
Falling near Mory Diaw, the projectile caused the goalkeeper of the Auvergne team to be evacuated on a stretcher, then the match was definitively interrupted.

In one of the other matches started on Sunday at 3 p.m., Brest missed the opportunity to score as many points as AS Monaco, leader of the Championship. To do that, we had to beat Toulouse at home.
Eric Roy’s team will be content, we suppose, to have avoided the worst by snatching the equalizer through Satriano (1-1, 90th+3).
