The AS Roma coach has made it known that he is willing to try his luck in the Saudi championship.
Well-respected Portuguese manager José Mourinho has said he will eventually work in the Saudi Pro League.
Mourinho ready to try his luck in the Gulf
Mourinho revealed he turned down a massive offer from Al-Hilal over the summer, but now claims he intends to join the SPL in the near future. “I go to Saudi Arabia when I have free time and I am also sure that I will work there. I don’t know when, but I’m sure.”
While expressing his desire to work in the Gulf, “The Special One” assures that he is currently fully focused on La Louve. “I am still committed to my work in Rome and I will give everything I have until my last day. Nobody knows the future, but I definitely want to work in Saudi Arabia.”
Since the start of his coaching career, Mourinho has coached in England, Spain and Italy. If he heads to Saudi Arabia, it will be his very first experience outside Europe.
