The Inter Miami club posted a message on social networks, suggesting that its star Lionel Messi is finally operational.

Inter Miami posted a cryptic message on social media with a photo of Lionel Messi captioned “see you tomorrow”.

Messi, the savior of Miami?

Messi was injured during his club’s match against Toronto FC in September. Since then, the Argentine captain has not played a single game because of this physical problem. However, Lionel Scaloni, the Albiceleste coach, has called him up again for next week and the recent message from Miami could suggest that the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner is ready to return to competition.

Inter Miami lost the US Open Cup final against Houston Dynamo due to the absence of their main star. In addition, the Herons have only won one victory in their last seven matches without their master playing. The club belonging to David Beckham is therefore counting on La Pulga to revive itself and perhaps seek one of the last two places for the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Inter Miami will face FC Cincinnati, winner of the 2023 MLS Supporters’ Shield, on Saturday October 7, with the hope of seeing Messi on the pitch.
