Defeated last week in Barcelona then held to a draw by PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League, the Andalusian club, sixteenth at kick-off, hoped to return to success to give themselves some air in the standings. If he may harbor regrets, Rayo Vallecano climbs to 7th place in the ranking while Sevilla FC climbs to 13th place.
