As part of the 9th day of La Liga, the promoted Cádiz opened the doors of its Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla to the Girona team, the nice surprise of the start of the season. While the locals quickly had to accept the exclusion of Darwin Machis for a big foul (10th), the visitors took the opportunity to dominate the match with almost 20 strikes attempted.
