Joao Felix has made a very promising debut at Barcelona, who he joined on a season-long loan at the end of the summer transfer window.
Given his performance, it seems that a permanent contract is under consideration.
Félix is unlikely to stay at Atlético Madrid, given that he almost cut ties with coach Diego Simeone. Their relationship is at an all-time low, and the Madrid side will be looking to make money on this deal as soon as possible.
According to Diario AS, Atlético will therefore demand at least 80 million euros for Felix to leave next summer, which FC Barcelona is perfectly aware of. The people of Barcelona know that they will have to find funds to be able to conclude the deal.
At this stage, Barcelona are far from having the means to agree a permanent contract. However, if Felix is able to continue his excellent performances over the next few months, one can imagine that Atletico Madrid will be waiting for a call next summer, if not sooner.
