Bundesliga: Gladbach still not taking off against Mainz

Borussia Mönchengladbach fails to launch its season. Winner against Bochum last weekend in the championship (1-3), the Poulains had the opportunity to achieve their first success at home this Friday against Mainz, 17th. Ultimately, Gerardo Seoane’s players could only settle for a draw (2-2).

Despite the opening score from German international Florian Neuhaus (22nd), Gladbach gave in twice, first to a strike from Gruda (24th), then from Moroccan international Barkok (75th). At the end of the match, the American Joe Scally still limited the damage to allow his club to leave with a point. A result which, however, still does not suit the Poulains, stuck in 12th place in the Bundesliga, while Mainz is penultimate.
