FC Barcelona snatched three points against Porto on Wednesday evening, a result which allows them to obtain two victories out of two in the Champions League this season.
Lamine Yamal started the match, it was the first time he started in the competition. Officially, he played 80 minutes, although he left the field in the 71st minute and, bizarrely, never returned.
As per the regulations, Lamine Yamal had to go to the toilet during the second half and took the opportunity to leave the field during a break in play. However, he remained absent for nine minutes, as Barcelona played ten. Xavi Hernandez, who later confirmed the 16-year-old was suffering from an illness, replaced him with Marcos Alonso.
Later, Barça officially found themselves down to ten men, with Gavi being sent off in stoppage time, but Lamine Yamal was fortunate that his absence did not affect his team too much. The main thing for the Catalans is to have won, which they did.
