Paris Saint-Germain is not at the end of its troubles. After starting their European campaign well, PSG sank at St James’ Park by conceding a heavy defeat against Newcastle (4-1) during the 2nd day of the Champions League. And since bad news never comes alone, The Team informs us this Thursday that the capital club has to answer to the Professional Football League (LFP).

As a continuation of the incidents that occurred at the Parc des Princes during the Classic between the reigning French champion and Olympique de Marseille (4-0), PSG and four players from the Parisian squad are summoned this Thursday before the LFP disciplinary committee. As a reminder, the four players concerned, namely Randal Kolo Muani, Ousmane Dembélé, Achraf Hakimi and Layvin Kurzawa, risk a suspended match suspension for having been insulting towards the Marseillais at the end of the match although they apologized late. For its part, PSG could suffer from a closure of the Auteuil stand due to the homophobic chants sung in this part of the Ile-de-France enclosure instead of behind closed doors.
