Failing to shine on the pitch at St James’ Park, Kylian Mbappé was happy on Wednesday at the final whistle.

Like all Parisian players, Kylian Mbappé had a difficult evening on Wednesday. Perfectly caught by the Magpies’ defense, the French world champion did not weigh on the debates and PSG lost heavily against Newcastle (4-1).

The former Monegasque had to wait for the final whistle to make a nice gesture by offering his jersey to Kieran Treppier, whose young son is a big fan of the Parisian striker.

“My son is obsessed with Mbappé, he watches all his videos on YouTube. I told him that if he went on the pitch with him, he had better not look at me,” the English defender said before the match.
