The right side of Olympique de Marseille Jonathan Clauss notably makes his return to Blue, a year after his non-selection for the Qatari World Cup.
Present at a press conference after the announcement of his group, the French technician wanted to justify the return of the former Lensois to Clairefontaine. “There is a question of competition in relation to what he achieves in this position, where he did not play last season and where he plays more regularly, with his own qualities as a right back”before ironically about his role in the tricolor locker room: “he’s going to come back just like that, to rediscover the castle and talk with me, that’s the most important thing (laughs)”.
