Real Madrid have announced a new sponsor, signing a ten-year deal with the Middle East Tourism Board to become their official tourist destination.
In its announcement, the club says it will bring “the flavor of Dubai to the Santiago Bernabeu stadium”. No details have been released on the exact figures of the agreement.
This announcement follows the announcement at the end of last year of the construction of a Real Madrid theme park in the United Arab Emirates, which will bring fans closer to the team and allow them to relive the greatest moments of their favorite team.

The project is part of the latest wave of fossil fuel-powered investments in football, with Riyadh Air recently agreeing to become the main jersey sponsor of Atlético de Madrid.
Dubai and Real Madrid, the incredible rapprochement
Previously, FC Barcelona had featured Qatar Airways and the Qatar Foundation on the front of its jerseys. This season, La Liga also entered into an agreement with Visit Saudi, the Saudi Arabian tourism board, to become a global sponsor.
