Since the start of the season, one player particularly stands out with Paris Saint-Germain, especially since he is a recruit who arrived during the last summer transfer window. In just a few weeks with the Parisian club, Manuel Ugarte has become a potential starter in the eleven of his coach Luis Enrique. The Uruguayan midfielder shines in the Rouge et Bleu midfield with his temperament and aggressiveness which allows him to recover very high balls on the meadow. The 22-year-old player also sent a message to his teammates which once again shows his involvement in the Parisian locker room despite his recent arrival in the capital.
“For me, the most important thing is to focus on ourselves. We also have to concentrate on the opponent, but the main thing is to play our game. We know that if we play well, we win. I would like to repeat the same match as against OM and for my part, repeat the same performance. We know that the Champions League is very complicated, but I think that if we are all together it will be easier (…) We remain confident and we hope to win this match. Newcastle have a very strong midfield with very good players. But I have confidence in myself and in my teammates. I think we’re going to have a great match.”explains the Uruguayan midfielder on the Parisian club’s media.
