Polish striker Robert Lewandowski has assessed Harry Kane’s first steps at his former club Bayern.

After a full year of evolving without a real scorer, Bayern bet on Harry Kane last summer. A bet which has so far proven to be a winning one since the English striker has been piling up the goals since his arrival. In Bavaria, everyone is satisfied with his performance.

Lewandowski dubs Kane

Kane’s mission is to make Lewandowski forget about the Allianz Arena. He is therefore well on his way and it is the Polish striker himself who recognizes him. “He’s a great striker, a very good solution for Bayern. Bayern spent a lot on Harry, he is from another dimension”admitted the Pole.

Kane walks on water, but Lewandowski is already anticipating a slump for the former Tottenham player: “The first year will not be easy for him, because the change is big. Harry needs time to understand Bayern. It’s a challenge. He arrived at Bayern at 30, I arrived at 25. He is more mature and has more experience. On the other hand, I already knew about the Bundesliga at the time. But Harry is one of the best strikers in the world. He will help the club, even if there will be difficult phases. »

During his first campaign at Bayern, in 2014/2015, Lewandowski scored 32 goals in 56 games. Kane, for his part, is progressing at a more impressive pace since he has achieved 9 goals in as many matches.
