Eden Hazard, the former Real Madrid and Belgian national team striker, is finally ready for a return to football.
Hazard will hit the ball again
The former LOSC player has been free since last summer and the termination of his lease with the Merengue team. Having declined all requests during the offseason, he has not played again since.
According to L’Equipe, Hazard will soon be back on the pitch, but not yet for a competitive match. The native of La Louvière will play for the Variétés Club de France on October 18 in Calais at the Stade de L’Epopée. The match is organized for charity, with also the participation of Laurent Blanc and Didier Deschamps.
Hazard (32 years old) will also meet his former Lille teammates there, Mathieu Debuchy and Yohan Cabaye. In 2011, they won the French championship title together as well as the National Cup.
