Arriving in Marseille after the departure of Marcelino, Gennaro Gattuso has already made a first victim within his group.

In Marseille, the arrival of Gennaro Gattuso on the bench caused quite a few waves. Appreciated by Marcelino, the young left-back Emran Soglo (18 years old) is the first victim of the Italian coach.

Last summer, during the summer preparation under the Iberian coach, Soglo began to reveal his potential. The young Franco-Italian even scored his first goal in Marseille colors on August 18 during a Ligue 1 match against Metz (2-2).

However, despite this quality performance, Soglo was ostracized during the Marseille club’s last outings. And his new coach is unlikely to save him from this situation.

Soglo was in fact excluded from the group which faced AS Monaco, during Gennaro Gattuso’s first match at the head of OM.

According to a signed indiscretion The TeamGattuso will no longer use Soglo as Renan Lodi’s understudy at the left-back position.
