Mike Maignan wants to extend his contract with AC Milan, while Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in him, according to Italian reports.
The 28-year-old has suffered numerous injuries since arriving at San Siro in 2021 and is currently sidelined with a thigh injury sustained during AC Milan’s 0-0 draw against Newcastle in the League champions.
However, Chelsea and PSG would be interested in his profile. But, according to CalciomercatoMaignan’s priority is to extend his contract at Milan.
The Frenchman’s current lease expires in June 2026, meaning there is no rush to sign a new arrangement, but he remains focused on extending his stay at the Italian giants.
Maignan would, however, like to receive a salary representative of his status as one of the best goalkeepers in the world, according to the report.
The former Lille player wants to at least double his current annual salary of 2.8 million euros and expects to be offered a contract worth 6/7 million euros per year. Additionally, he would like to sign until 2028.
