Jude Bellingham continues to follow in Cristiano Ronaldo’s footsteps at Real Madrid, with the Englishman breaking a new goalscoring record.
The 20-year-old midfielder made an immediate impact at Santiago Bernabéu following his €103 million move from Borussia Dortmund.
He has made his mark in Spanish football, finding the target five times in his first four La Liga appearances.
This feat has only been achieved by Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, and Bellingham is keeping pace with Real’s all-time top scorer. He found the net again in Los Blancos’ last match against Girona.
Bellingham is now six goals in the Spanish league in just seven matches. It’s the same performance as that of Ronaldo, five-time Ballon d’Or, during his debut at Real in 2009-10. No player has done better in the 21st century with Real.
