While he hoped to play again on Sunday evening against Nantes, Martin Terrier must forfeit this Breton derby.

Bad news for Martin Terrier and Stade Rennais. While he hoped to resume competition this weekend, nine months after his serious knee injury, the former Lyonnais withdrew from the Breton derby against Nantes. Terrier is not injured, but sick, and must therefore be patient.

“Unfortunately I will not be present for this evening’s derby which was an opportunity to meet at Roazhon Park after my long injury, he explained on X. I am ill and therefore unavailable for this match. I am disappointed and frustrated by this missed meeting but it is only a postponement. A big thank you for all your words that I have received or read since the announcement of my return. I wish my teammates a good match and we’ll see you next Sunday at home. »

Terrier is referring to the meeting between Rennes and PSG next weekend, while Bruno Genesio’s men travel to Villarreal this week in the Europa League.
