The sixth day of the Bundesliga continued this Sunday. The opportunity for Friborg to host Augsburg for a duel between two teams who have had a mixed start to the season. And, at home, Christian Streich’s flock got the better of their evening opponents.

Indeed, the locals quickly took the lead thanks to a penalty converted by Vincenzo Grifo (1-0, 5th). And while the 30-year-old Italian scored his first goal of the season in the Bundesliga to allow his team to take an early advantage, Philipp Lienhart completed his team’s success in the second half (2-0, 56th). With this success, Friborg climbs to eighth place while Augsburg is in 14th place in the ranking.
