Flamboyant against OM last Sunday, PSG failed to find the fault in Clermont this Saturday during the 7th day of Ligue 1 (0-0).

The weeks follow one another and are not the same for Paris. Inspired and convincing against Marseille last weekend at the Parc des Princes (4-0), PSG was unable to continue on the Clermont lawn, despite being the red lantern of the elite, this Saturday, as part of the 7e lifting of Ligue 1 (0-0). A small annoyance four days before returning to the Champions League on the Newcastle pitch.

With the same offensive quartet which six days earlier did so much harm to OM – Barcola having immediately accompanied this time again the French trio Mbappé-Kolo Muani-Dembélé – Luis Enrique did not have the desired effect , necessarily impacted by the absence in the midfield of a Ugarte prepared for the C1. Result, situations, yes – like the low strikes of Dembélé and Mbappé repelled by Diaw (19e) and the post (53e) – but no goal.

Until the end, the Clermont goalkeeper kept his training club in check, making two more decisive saves in added time against Danilo and Mbappé. And Paris leaves Auvergne with a little extra point in its bag. In total, still one less than the Brest leader, opposed on Sunday to his runner-up from Nice. Clermont, for its part, abandoning the red lantern to OL, summoned to react to Reims this weekend.
