How cruel it is for Liverpool

Liverpool lost to Tottenham this Saturday as part of the 7th day of the Premier League (2-1).

The Spurs got the better of the Reds by taking advantage of a csc from the unfortunate Matip in added time (90e+6).

Previously twice reduced numerically after the expulsions of Jones (26e) and Jota (69e), the Mersey club was able to respond to Son’s opening score (36e) thanks to Gakpo (45e+4).

Liverpool, who could aim for the top if successful, remains confined to 4e level, two lengths behind leader Manchester City and in the wake of Arsenal and Tottenham, second in the English elite this evening.
